“Career exploration: Hit the road to success”
Career Guidance and counseling program for High School Students
Grade 11/12
This programs consists of two parts:
1. “Via Career” psychometric Assessment Test (60 m) https://greatpeopleinside.com/
2. Follow up individualized career orientation sessions for students guiding them to the right major and the most suitable options of universities.
Via Career Assessment Test:
VIA helps students discover their true vocation and choose the right career path for them.
It is an
assessment tool that ensures
compatibility between aspirations, activities,
talents and the
students’ career choices
and educational opportunities
which suit them best.
VIA helps them discover and be aware of their own behavioral traits, occupational interests and
cognitive abilities as well as the way in which they fit with what they are
currently doing or wish to do in the future.
VIA Assessments are developed by a
team of professionals, industrial and
organizational
psychologists, experts in psychometric and they are basing their work
on a validated and rigorous
Scientific methodology and latest generation technology.
The test is developed continuously in order to improve their preciseness and efficacy as well as
offering the users a perfect experience.
After the test analysis and results, 5 follow up individualized career orientation sessions will be
delivered to the students covering:
1. Positive Self‐Esteem and Life purpose (the Why)
-Why positive self‐esteem is essential to a successful career planning
-Identify specific aspects of positive self‐esteem
-Exploring Social Emotional Intelligence
-Exercises and mindset techniques needed to develop a career profile
2. Core Values
-Define and clarify core values
-Analyze how your values and needs motivate you
-Describe how your values affect your career and work‐life balance
3. Personality and Interests Assessments
-Analyze differences in personality types and identify your own personality type
-Identify fields of interests
-Research your interests as they related to potential majors and occupations
4. Skills Evaluation
‐ Importance of skills in career search
-Explore your skills
-Recognize the power of transferable skills
-Relate your skills and personality traits to different occupations.
5. Generate[ career options that align with your career profile
6. Develop a strategy for researching career options
“Skill Up YOU” is an educational and consultancy company specialized in Youth and Young Adults development. It offers accredited programs of Subject Matter Experts in the fields of executive coaching, financial literacy, career growth, entrepreneurship, psychological development, school and parental support, as well as special programs to train educators on personality and character building.
